Surfers Rescue 24/7 CRISPY RESCUE STORY

Published on 05/07/2023

“I went through the leg hook, which is a surfers rescue technique proven to keep the unconscious person’s head above water.” – Michael Crisp

Last month, Michael Crisp (Crispy) Surfers Rescue 24/7 Presenter was involved in a mass rescue at Boulders Beach (Ballina) where tragically, the fisherman passed away.

Unfortunately, Police and Ambulance were unable to access the water and that’s where Crispy had to take charge of the rescue and retrieve the body. Without his efforts, there would have been two lives lost.
