Day three of the Surfboard Empire Pro Junior presented by Florence Marine X and Surfboard Empire North Narrabeen Ripper, presented by VEIA saw the event return to the iconic North Narrabeen left-hander, with challenging east-south-east swell and onshore winds providing a true test for the Ripper competitors.

Despite the conditions, standout performances emerged early. Olive Hardy set the benchmark in the opening heat, posting an 8.00 ride and backing it up with another strong score, validating the call to run at the famed break.

In the Under 18 Girls division, Brisa Canina delivered one of the most composed performances of the day, combining strong surfing with maturity to stand out in a competitive field.

The Under 16 Boys division followed with high energy, with Lennox Lindsay drawing attention for his ability to adapt to the shifting conditions. Posting a 6.67 and 7.57, Lindsay earned Surfer of the Day, awarded by The Mona.

Off the beach, the event continued to reflect the strength of the local community, with a range of activations keeping the beach active throughout the day. Spectators could get involved at the Mona Beach Activation with games and cornhole, test themselves in the Reflections Recovery Zone ice baths and sauna, or connect with Surfing NSW’s top coaches through the LAB activation, with opportunities still available for eliminated competitors to sign up for Saturday’s in-water sessions. The Surfboard Empire tents remained a central hub, giving fans a place to relax, watch the LiveHeats broadcast on the big screen and stay close to the action.

With competition remaining at North Narrabeen, attention now turns to the coming days, as conditions are expected to remain challenging.
