Surfboard Empire North Narrabeen Pro Junior
The Surfboard Empire North Narrabeen Pro Junior, presented by Florence, will be the third WSL Pro Junior event of the 2026 season. Surfers will compete for valuable ranking points in hopes of boosting their standings and securing a place at the coveted World Junior Championships by year’s end. The top 2 junior surfers from each WSL region will earn the opportunity to compete against a global field of the best surfers aged 20 and under, with a chance to win a wildcard for the 2027 Challenger Series Tour.
The WSL Pro Junior event will run from 22–26 April 2026.
Entry Fee: $170 + GST
Key Dates:
- Entries Open: March 13, 2026
- Entries Close: March 31, 2026
Registrations will re-open for late entries after an initial seed list is made on March 31. Surfers who enter after the initial closing date are prioritised based on the time their entry is received. These late entries are placed at the bottom of the list in entry order and seeding rights are not applied.
You will be able to view the seedlist here once published (select ‘Tour Type’ from drop down to toggle between Men and Women).
Event Format:
- Men: 64 format
- Women: 32 format
Age Clarification: 20 years old or younger. You cannot turn 21 before 31st December of the current membership year.
How to Sign Up:
You must be a member of WSL through MemberPro (sign up tutorial)
Surfers need an active WSL Membership and Insurance selection prior to registering for the event.
Membership: You can choose between a Single Event ($80 + GST) or Junior Membership Annual ($210 + GST).
Insurance: If you are an Australia Resident, you can select the Insurance Waiver if you hold a Medicare card. Otherwise you can select Basic One Event, or find an insurance provider that covers competing in a professional sporting event.
