Day two of the Surfboard Empire Pro Junior presented by Florence Marine X delivered another full day of high-performance surfing, with the women’s field stepping up alongside a standout showing in the Surfboard Empire North Narrabeen Ripper, presented by VEIA Under 18 Boys division.

In slightly larger conditions than day one, surfers adapted quickly, with powerful, committed surfing continuing to set the tone across both events.

Natalie Fensom was a clear standout in the Women’s Pro Junior, earning ‘The Mona’s Surfer of the Day’ honours from the commentary team. Surfing with confidence and control, Fensom’s performance secured her a $50 award and marked her as one to watch as the event progresses.

Attention then shifted to the Ripper, where the Under 18 Boys delivered one of the highlights of the day. Taj Air continued his strong run of form, showcasing composure and consistency to post some of the day’s top scores.

In one of the defining moments of the afternoon, Oscar Jackson delivered under pressure in the dying seconds of his heat, attacking a critical closeout section and landing a committed float to earn a 7.33 and secure progression into the next round.

With momentum building across both events, attention now turns to day three, with hopes of returning to the iconic North Narrabeen break.
