FEMALE GRANTS RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED.

Twenty NSW Surf School and Boardrider Club projects across NSW have been selected to be funded through the Her Wave Get Her Onboard Grants Program pres. by ROXY and NSW Government.
 
The affiliated boardrider clubs and surf schools in NSW will share in $50 000 as part of this inaugural round of the program.
 
Close to 50 different surf schools and boardrider clubs applied for the grants.

The program was built on the back of stage one of the ROXY and Her Wave “Get Her Onboard” campaign earlier this year, which resulted in 1100 women joining the ROXY and Her Wave community, which included being offered discounted learn to surf lessons through their local participating surf school.
 
All recipients are female-specific, diverse in design, delivered and driven by passionate nominated leaders within a local Surf School or Boardrider Club.
 
“We would like to thank all applicants for the time and effort invested in submitting an application under the Grants Program,” said Surfing NSW Programs Manager Claire Ellem.
 
“We appreciated the opportunity to consider all applications and learn more about each organisation.”
 
Every application was reviewed on merit and against the Grants Program judging criteria, eligibility and application completeness. All grant allocations were also geographically spread and assessed by a panel consisting of Surfing NSW management where all decisions are final.
 
While Surfing NSW could not support all applications, we strongly encourage all Surf Schools and Clubs to consider applying again in the future.
