Billabong Oz Grom Cup presented by Coopers Surf Australia

The Billabong Oz Grom Cup presented by Coopers Surf Australia is back in 2022. This year we are excited to announce a new division, Under 18. Please note we will also be modifying the age divisions with the new ruling you CAN’T be turning 12 if you wish to enter the Under 12 division. We have done this to align with our rankings and State Titles pathway.

Entries

Entries will be staggered this year with the first wave of entries to open at 5pm, Friday 25 February 2022 and the second wave of entries open on 5pm, Monday 28 February 2022. 

Entries will be as follows:

  • Friday 25 February: Under 16s and 18s – FULL
  • Monday 28 February: Under 8s, 10s, 12s and 14s  – FULL

Location:
The contest is mobile to maximise opportunities for the best available surf in the Coffs Coast area.

The prime location is Park Beach, backup locations include North Wall, McCauley’s Beach, Sawtell, Gallows, and Diggers Beach.

Please call the event hotline (0458 247 212) after 6:45 am each day of the event for the confirmed location.

Dates:
Saturday 9 April – Wednesday 13 April 2022

DIVISIONS:

  • Under 8 mixed (parental assist optional, though recommended, judging accordingly)
  • Under 10 Boys & Girls  (parental assist optional, judging accordingly)
  • Under 12s Boys & Girls (parental assist optional, judging accordingly)
  • Under 14s Boys & Girls
  • Under 16s Boys & Girls
  • Under 18s Boys & Girls
