Team NSW once again made waves on the national stage, delivering standout performances at the 2025 Australian SUP Titles across surf, technical, and distance divisions.

Leading the charge was Rebecca Dunning, who dominated with a clean sweep — claiming first place in 40–50yrs Women’s Surf, Open Women’s Surf, 40–50yrs Technical, and 40–50yrs Distance. Her performance set the tone for a powerhouse NSW campaign.

Marty Cole continued the momentum, proving unstoppable by winning every heat he surfed and posting the highest single-wave score of the event. Blair Moore impressed in the Open Men’s SUP Surf Final, holding the lead until the final moments, while Andrew Cassidy added another runner-up finish to his remarkable record — marking his 12th career second-place result at the Aussie Titles.

In the racing divisions, Connor Linz was dominant in the Technical Race, and Hayden Copping showcased endurance and strength, taking first place in both the Technical and Marathon Prone events.

True to form, the NSW crew wrapped up another successful campaign in style, celebrating their achievements and the longstanding “margarita tradition” that has become part of Team NSW folklore.

“This team continues to raise the bar each year — not just in results, but in camaraderie and state pride,” said a Surfing NSW spokesperson. “We’re incredibly proud of their performances and the way they represent NSW on the national stage.”

Congratulations to all our Team NSW athletes for their commitment, talent, and sportsmanship throughout the 2025 Australian SUP Titles — and for proudly flying the blue once again.
