Surfing NSW – New Chair and Deputy Chair (July 2024)

Surfing NSW today announced the election of Ben Rolleston as its new Chair, and Lyndel Gray as Deputy Chair. This follows the resignation of John O’Neill and Harry Hodge from the Board of Directors after almost 15 years of esteemed service.

Due to the restrictions across the country associated with the current COVID-19 outbreaks, the hard decision has been made to cancel the 2021 Australian SUP Titles on Phillip Island due to run from October 12th.

Surfing Australia has worked through key timelines to make an informed decision regarding running, postponing or cancelling the 2021 Australian SUP Titles. After considering all possibilities with the consultation of key staff at Surfing Australia and State branches, unfortunately, there were too many uncertainties to run this national event due to the border restrictions associated with the current COVID-19 outbreak.

All competitors are advised to consult with their State branch regarding the appropriate next steps.

Surfing Australia aims to bring back the Australian SUP Titles bigger and better in 2022.

NOTE: All events and event dates are subject to change. Surfing Australia strictly adheres to any Federal Government directive regarding the current COVID-19 pandemic
